“Helping students build confidence in math is one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. I am passionate about supporting learners of all ages as they overcome challenges, gain new skills, and discover the satisfaction that comes from understanding a subject that may have once felt intimidating. I bring over 25 years of professional experience in customer service, which has equipped me with patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. My background has taught me how to listen closely, respond to individual needs, and provide thoughtful, clear explanations—skills that translate directly into effective, student-centered tutoring. In my work as a tutor, I’ve found it especially rewarding to help students build foundational math skills and develop their problem-solving abilities.

I hold a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematics and logical reasoning. I tutor students in a range of math subjects from kindergarten through grade 12, with a particular interest in topics like algebra, geometry, and basic arithmetic. These are often key stepping stones in a student’s academic journey, and I enjoy making them approachable and engaging.
